This Body Benefits workshop is an exploration into the benefits of Yoga poses in relation to the internal systems and organs of the body. Whilst Yoga Asana offers incredible toning of the muscular and skeletal systems, this workshop focusses on what else Asana does for our internal systems.
Yoga is not only for the strong and flexible but rather a practice of healing and repair for all. By modulating the nervous and endocrine systems, Yoga Asana increases the effectiveness of assimilation and excretions to uplift all other systems of the body. Not only can we effect our physical health, but also our mental and emotional health too.
Focussing on 5 important systems of the body, we will explore practices that have an effect on each of the following systems;
The practices you learn during this workshop are simple and effective and will benefit all bodies. The notes you will receive will aid in creating a well rounded and effective home practice, morning ritual and cleansing habits.
