When you choose winter to deepen your yoga practice you reap abundant rewards. For starters, it’s a mood enhancer, immunity booster, stress eliminator, healer of joint pain and skin rejuvenator. As “breathe to heal” guru Max Strom says, “Remember, it doesn’t matter how deep into a posture you go, what does matter is who you are when you get there.”
The Om Revolution and Good Balance is bringing out the art of yoga this winter. We’re offering a three-part arm-balance workshop open to all levels and designed to achieve greater mindfulness and ease.
“It isn’t essential to do all three classes and you will benefit from just attending one. However, each class follows on from the one before, so I will focus on something different every time. By doing all three you will gain a more complete understanding of the practice,” says Lee-Ann Elliott Yoga who will be instructing the classes.
Bring your OM on 6th and 20th July, and 3rd August, from 10.30am to 12.00pm. Classes will take place at the newly opened GOOD venue – The IronWorks Building in Sir Lowry Road, Woodstock. Space is limited to 15 people per class so booking is essential.
Invest in your winter wellness by booking in advance for all three classes
Cost: R450 for all 3 classes. includes a gift bag filled with yoga treats. One class: R180 prebook/ R200 drop in .

“Arm-balance is all about trust. It’s about learning to trust yourself and safely balance on your hands. You will learn to move deeper into self, to observe, challenge and open your mind to possibility, and witness your body follow suit,” Lee-Ann explains.
The classes have been designed for all yogis to enjoy, from enthusiastic beginners to the gurus.
