Join Yoga Flow and Cape Town based yogi Fran Siebrits from Tuning In - BodyMind Practices for Health on a Soft Safari Yoga Retreat. Combining yoga, guided walks, game viewing, campfire nights, delicious healthy food and comfortable accommodation in a chalet or renovated ox-wagon. Only 30 minutes drive from Pretoria, the tranquil Somabula Nature Reserve near Cullinan awaits. Treat yourself to a relaxing and refreshing weekend where you will be expertly facilitated, enjoying the beauty of the natural world around you, and not having to worry about a thing.

The reserve boasts indigenous trees, pristine bush, excellent birding and a wide variety of antelope as well as giraffe, zebra and wildebeest. Your accommodation is in natural surrounds, either in beautifully restored ox-wagons or stone and wooden chalets situated in secluded areas. To add to the natural harmony of this hidden valley, there is gas and solar power (electricity free). Enjoy the gentle morning walking to bird sounds, the rejuvenating yoga sessions, the tranquil surrounds of the reserve, and the nights of campfires and stars.

GUIDED ACTIVITIES & FITNESS LEVELS:

--YOGA--

All levels and body-mind types welcome. Requirements: yoga mat, comfortable clothing, an open heart and a warm smile.

--WALKING--

All fitness levels will be able to enjoy the guided morning walks. The emphasis is on enjoying the scenery, bird life and wildlife we may encounter. Requirements: comfortable walking shoes, 1 litre water bottle, hat, snacks, warm top.

About your host

Fran Siebrits combines and shares her passion for yoga, nature and good food on this fun and relaxing retreat. She has been practicing yoga since her early 20s, which has become a way of life. Not only does it bring her a deeper connection to her body and mind, but also assists her as a sportswoman for conditioning, cross-training, myofascia recovery, strengthening, tension releasing, respiratory toning, general overall maintenance and injury prevention. Fran has worked with an array of people and in a variety of environments, from rehabilitation clinics to athletes, yoga for pregnancy and yoga suited to the corporate world.

Fran enjoys assisting others in finding a deeper connection to their bodies and internal world. When she is not on the mat, she can be found in her other happy space - a trail somewhere out in the mountains! Nature has always been part of her life. She enjoys creating experiences for others to connect back to themselves and to the natural world.
