Yoga Flow and Cape Town based trail-yogi Fran Siebrits from Tuning In - BodyMind Practices for Health bring you a specialised retreat, combining yoga, hiking or trail running, and delicious vegetarian food. Positioned under the picturesque Magaliesberg mountain range, you will be expertly facilitated during a healthy, fun and light weekend in nature.The majestic and tranquil oasis of Rustig Farm is your home for the weekend, only 45 minutes drive from Pretoria and Johannesburg. This Yoga & Trail Retreat promises to leave you refreshed, relaxed and revitalised.

Situated at the foot of the Magaliesberg mountain range, the beautifully restored farmhouse accommodation spills out onto a spacious veranda with lush green garden views. The large rooms offer a stylish interior, merging classic tradition with modern sophistication. Other accommodation options include upmarket tented cottages, en-suit and including a small kitchen. You will have access to the large outdoor pool, indoor jacuzzis and the formal bar for that perfect end-of-day sundowner.

Enjoy some time in the beautiful surrounding gardens with the sounds of nature; and while out on trail keep an eye open for some of the impressive wildlife, flora and fauna which are found in these parts of the Magaliesburg we will be accessing.

GUIDED ACTIVITIES & FITNESS LEVELS:
--YOGA-- All levels and body-mind types welcome. Requirements: yoga mat, comfortable clothing, an open heart and a warm your smile.
--HIKING-- All fitness levels will be able to enjoy the guided hikes, ranging from 2-4 hours. The scenery boasts a variety of different vegetation, rock features, pristine nature and breathtaking views. If you appreciate bird life, then you are in for a treat. There are some impressive trees along the route too, neatly labelled for an educational trail. There is a decent amount of climbing too, accessing the rock cliffs and caves of the upper band of Magalies. If you enjoy a good few hours out in pure nature, you will not be disappointed. Requirements: good walking shoes, 1 litre water bottle, hat, snacks, rain jacket.
--TRAIL RUN-- A good level of trail running fitness is required for these guided adventures. The trail is absolutely stunning and is pure trail running magic with single track all the way. There is a decent amount of technical running and multiple summit ascents and descents. Requirements: must be mountain fit and competent with single track and technical mountain terrain as we will be out for 4-5 hours, trail running pack/vest with at least 1,5 litres hydration, emergency space blanket, whistle, lightweight rain jacket, thermal base layer top, beanie, snacks, sense of humour.

About your host

Fran Siebrits combines and shares her passion for yoga, nature and good food on this fun and relaxing retreat. She has been practicing yoga since her early 20s, which has become a way of life. Not only does it bring her a deeper connection to her body and mind, but also assists her as a sportswoman for conditioning, cross-training, myofascia recovery, strengthening, tension releasing, respiratory toning, general overall maintenance and injury prevention. Fran has worked with an array of people and in a variety of environments, from rehabilitation clinics to athletes, yoga for pregnancy and yoga suited to the corporate world.

Fran enjoys assisting others in finding a deeper connection to their bodies and internal world. When she is not on the mat, she can be found in her other happy space - a trail somewhere out in the mountains! Nature has always been part of her life. She enjoys creating experiences for others to connect back to themselves and to the natural world.
