About Your Hosts:

Anastasia, also know as Tasia or Tash, is a full time certified yoga teacher and owner of, The Mindful Movement. The Mindful Movement is a yoga and lifestyle brand and blog with a social heart.

Tash started her yoga journey in Cape Town, in 2011 and was instantaneously hooked. She began to experience the powerful healing (mental, emotional and physical) benefits of yoga by integrating mindful movement, deep breathing and meditation. This transformation left her inspired to share the gift of yoga with others. She completed my 200hr Teacher Training Course and "Yoga for Little Bodies" at Devahiti Yoga with Cheryl Lancellas (Accredited with Yoga Alliance UK) in Ballito. She is also enrolled to complete her Advanced Teacher Training course with Ana Forrest in November 2017. Additionally, she has completed many mediation courses, including Transcendental Meditation.

Cami started her yoga journey in 2010 and has never looked back.

"The shifts that still occur to this day when I show up to my mat are undeniably magic .These shifts left me in awe of yoga and its ways. It got me thinking just how healing and calming it would be for children to practice yoga in this fast paced world. How beneficial it would be to give children this gift that keeps on giving (yoga), allowing them to gain the knowledge and the tools that would surely make their life and their stress far more manageable, allowing them to live a more present and happier life."

This is when she began her journey of exploring yoga for kids and in 2015 completed her kid's yoga teacher training. In 2016, she opened up Yogi BearsZA - Yoga for Kids in Durban. The motto at Yogi BearsZA is to create mindful beings by aligning bodies, balancing minds and expanding breaths.

Yogi BearsZA is dedicated to serving the needs of the next generation of yogi's out there. We work with children aged 3-12 year old.
