About your facilitators

Carly will be your host and resident plant guide, sharing her love and knowledge of edible and medicinal plants. We will be learning about herbalism in magical folklore, basket weaving using grasses found on the farm and batik dyeing with natural plant dyes. Her approaches range from using well-established modern herbalism practices to personal skills she's learned and adapted to while living out on the farm for the past 6 years. She will also be guiding you through wild yoga and elemental movement classes, always looking to nature to guide and inspire.

Simone, our special wonder-women healer will be facilitating the Sweat Lodge ceremonies. A Sweat lodge is a physical and mental cleansing practice originating from most native traditions and the sweat lodge ceremony is practiced in some form by every culture in the world in order to facilitate healing, purification and relaxation. Simone ''Songweaver'' Beckerling has been walking the Red Path for over a decade. Simone has completed her 4,7, 9 and 13 day Red Path vision quests and given the blessing to ''pour'' for the SweatLodge by her elders. Simone is an experienced Sweat Lodge facilitator who understands the subtlety of holding space, bringing people back to Mother Earth and back to their hearts.

Herman of Boswa survival skills school will be your bushcraft guide, teaching us the ways of our ancestors through re-wilding skills. Discover the ancient art of primitive survival skills and become competent in relying only on your knowledge and skill to be able to provide what you need in the outdoors.
