Namaste Yoga Studio is a safe space for people to connect with Self through the liberating discipline of Yoga. Experience the joy of breathing, stretching, moving – growing Strong, Supple & Serene, in a non-competitive, non-judgmental space. Discover your ability to be in the moment, enjoy your body, calm your mind and connect with your soul. By working through the medium of the body in asanas (postures) while focusing on the breath, yoga enables one to get out of the head and into the body, ultimately creating the freedom to connect with the true self.
The teachers at Namaste Yoga Studio are all passionate about this ancient and special discipline and share their varied experience in Budokon, Vinyasa, Yin and kids' yoga.
What a privilege to guide others as they embrace their innate power. Come and join them on this amazing journey!
Discovering Yoga in 2001 'felt like coming home' for studio founder Natasia Cook. "My background as a former professional ballet dancer and Therapeutic Reflexologist gave me a huge respect for the human body and it’s potential to transform and heal itself.
Yoga taught me that it’s OK to be non-competitive and to to trust and grow yourself from within. I am eternally grateful to both my beloved late teacher Ingrid Eriksen who originally trained me & nudged me into teaching and to Kerry Weavind at Haum of Yoga (now Indieyoga) whose powerful 200 hr Indieyoga TTC confirmed my passion for sharing the gift of yoga. Namaste Yoga Studio was established in 2008 so that I could share this wonderful discipline with others."
Natasia's training includes exposure to the Hatha, IndieYoga, Iyengar, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Sivananda, Yin, Partner/Acro, Budokon and Yoga Synergy styles and she has a special interest in body alignment and the healing potential of Yoga.
