Pregnancy Yoga: Asana and Pranayama for Pregnancy is an online distance course intended for Yoga Teachers or Yoga Therapists wishing to deepen their knowledge on how to create a safe and effective pre and post-natal yoga class for pregnant moms.
The information provided in this course is based on the yoga teachings of Sri T. Krishnamacharya, and covers specific Asanas, Pranayamas and Yogic Sequences which aim to improve the health of mother and baby, as well as make the carrying time, labour and recovery easier by strengthening the parts of the body involved in childbirth.
Certification and Accreditation
A Certificate of Completion will be issued from Hridaya School of Yoga on completion of the course. Pregnancy Yoga: Asana and Pranayama for Pregnancy is an online distance course accredited with the Yoga Teachers Fellowship of South Africa.
The course comprises of 50 hours learning time
Students have unlimited access to course material once downloaded
Pre-requisites: Applicants must have at least completed a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training
Testing and Student Teacher Interaction

Course author is Pamela-Francis Stuetz, 200RYT and Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant.
Pamela completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training under Ishta School of Yoga and Health and completed her 300hr Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consutant through the American Institute of Vedic Studies under Dr David Frawley.
