Firdose is a sports journalist whose interest in fitness and health was fueled by her profession. Though not adept with bat or ball, she turned to running to shape in shape on the road and enjoyed the meditative effects of movement.
In 2015, while covering the Cricket World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, she began a course in Nutrition and continued that into the full certificate in Meal Planning. In 2017, she completed her Yoga Teacher Training. Though she is still working as a reporter, Firdose is ready to dive into health and wellness teaching too.
"My aim is to combine exercise and eating into a holistic practice that can help people find balance and peace in themselves and the world around them. I aim to use yoga as a tool to build physical strength and flexibility and mental awareness. Yoga is a lifestyle and I am looking forward to sharing what I have learnt."
