About:

UNLOCK YOUR TRUE POTENTIAL TO BE THE BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF.
Hello. I am Skye and my heart, soul, and life’s purpose is movement and longevity.

I've got a deeply rooted emotional and physical connection to movement and first felt this connection during my years as a dancer from nursery through to high school. I was a talented and skilled dancer in Modern, Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Freestyle. There was always more to dancing than performing on stage that made me feel good, and that was the effect it had on my confidence, self-expression, mental and emotional health.

Without fail, dancing and movement have always helped me to find happiness, joy, accomplishment, health, and a strong mind-body connection. After studying for a BA Degree in the Business of Fashion, I went on to work as a Health and Fitness writer at Longevity Magazine. Here I reassured my passion for Longevity, Health, and Movement and decided to leave my desk job. I began pursuing my dream to teach movement and help others achieve abilities above and beyond. I began self-studying Pilates and Yoga. I also worked as a Personal Trainer, Boxercise & Boxing Conditioning Coach, and Pilates/Yoga Teacher in both South Africa and Kenya.

In 2018 I started a Wellness/Fashion Blog and Fitness Business called Skyezee FashionFit. Later in 2019, I started my business venture with fitness franchise BODYTEC where I was then certified as an EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) PT. During which I participated in Striking Mixed Martial Arts and started to really LOVE the integration of Mixed Movement Modalities and began aligning different practices through my teaching.

I have an extremely open-minded, authentic, dynamic, challenging, creative, and fun approach to movement. I strongly believe in exploring variation in whatever activities you do because you will improve self-confidence, the mind-body connection, coordination, spatial awareness, endurance, sports performance, and mental resilience. In 2018 I discovered Cameron Shayne’s Budokon and fell in love with the art form. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to my training as both a Budokon Teacher and Athlete focusing on Bodyweight Training – Calisthenics, Jump Rope, Budokon Yoga, Mobility, and Conditioning to help any athlete, fitness lover, martial artist, dancer or movement artist become a multidimensional movement practitioner through movement, play and meditation.
