Magenta English was born into a vegan family, and then started eating meat at the age of 7. Four years ago, after working in the restaurant business, she decided that reductionism was the future and decided to become a pescatarian.
“I have a great passion for food because my mom was a caterer and I used to help her growing up but I am also passionate about yoga and the magic that binds the two. Food is yoga, It is part of your life and there should be no harm in the practice”
Magenta offers yoga retreat nutritional specialised catering. Her food is all refined sugar free and adaptable for vegans, vegetarians, lacto-vegetarians and pescatarians, strictly no poultry or red meat. All of her produce is locally and ethically sourced from local farms in Hout Bay and all fish is sourced through a dear friend at Abalobi http://abalobi.info/hooktocook
