Kirsti Mackenzie

About:

After completing her undergraduate in Architecture and developing a career ending ballet injury, Kirsti found yoga as a healthy way to connect with her mind, body and soul when she could no longer dance and ended to move after spending long hours drawing on a computer. In 2016, she completed her first teacher training and since then she has taught a dynamic vinyasa practice that is heavily inspired by Jivamukti in both studios and private classes.  As an ex ballet dancer with experience in a wide variety of injuries, Kirsti is incredibly aware of student’s bodies and energies and strives to teach classes that practitioners of all levels and in all conditions can enjoy. Yoga is for all bodies and all levels. Expect chanting, breath work, philosophy and interesting sequencing with an eclectic mix of music.

"My classes are very spiritual as well as physical. I incorporate chanting, music, meditation, pranayama and dharma into every class I teach as yoga is so much more than the physical practice of asana. Yoga has helped me to heal, to find myself, to forgive myself and to connect to other beings in ways I didn't think possible. It's like a magical shift that guides you and helps you learn from even the hardest life experiences. Come and experience this with me."
